\nThis 4-hour session begins with a 45-minute focused introduction to the Great Smoky Mountains, the enchanting history of the park and a deeper dive into hiking.<\/p>\n
The discussion is more structured and discusses the 10 essentials every hiker should carry at all times.<\/p>\n
The class is followed by a 3-hour hike with moderate inclines. We stop halfway into the hike for some light snacks before we return back to our basecamp.<\/p>\n
Upon return we have a 15-minute debriefing to discuss any area of special interest for the group.<\/p>\n
9:00am to 1:00pm
